I was asked back in the summer to paint a 36in x 14in oil painting that was to act as a backdrop for Trevors 'Royal Doulton' snowmen..Trevor was quite specific on what he wanted--cotswold stone walls,5 bar gate, snowy path and a distant village in the hills. I really enjoyed painting it and Trevor promised a picture of the set up with the snowmen when he did it at Christmas....Im chuffed to bits to see in in situ with the snowmen in front of the walls and gate--it really does work well...
